Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: 5 August 2026
This policy explains how NotamHelp handles personal data when you use the website, create an account, connect WhatsApp, request aviation information, or contact us. It also explains your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). NotamHelp does not sell personal data.
1. Controller and contact
NotamHelp is a service operated by:
Patrik Figurasole trader / Czech natural person conducting businessIČO: 21928908Točitá 360, 251 62 Svojetice, Czech RepublicNotamHelp is the service name, not a separate legal entity. Patrik Figura is the controller of personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions and GDPR requests can be sent to info (at) notamhelp.com. NotamHelp has not appointed a data protection officer because its processing does not currently require one.
2. Data we process, why, and for how long
Where data comes from and what is required
Most data comes directly from you or from your browser or device when you use the service. Google supplies sign-in profile data if you choose Google sign-in, and Meta supplies WhatsApp messages and delivery metadata if you connect WhatsApp. Aviation information comes from the sources listed below. Creating an account, connecting WhatsApp, enabling alerts and consenting to analytics are optional. An email address and authentication data are necessary to operate an account; a phone number and WhatsApp messages are necessary to provide the WhatsApp features. If you do not provide those details, the corresponding optional feature cannot work, but the public airport search remains available.
3. Aviation data and AI summaries
NotamHelp obtains and combines aeronautical or weather data from sources including the FAA NOTAM Management Service (NMS), EUROCONTROL Network Manager services, openAIP, AviationWeather.gov, AVWX, OurAirports, and local aeronautical datasets. These datasets concern airports, airspace, weather and NOTAMs; they are not obtained as personal account data.
- FAA, EUROCONTROL and openAIP data is generally ingested or requested by NotamHelp's servers. We do not attach your account ID, email address, Google profile or WhatsApp number to those source requests.
- An airport code, coordinates or another aviation query may be sent to the relevant weather or aviation data provider to retrieve the result. We do not deliberately attach your account credentials to those requests.
- An AI service may receive raw NOTAM, METAR or TAF text, an airport code and a language choice to prepare a plain-language summary. We do not include your email, phone number or NotamHelp user ID in that AI input.
- A translation service may receive an airport or FIR name for translation. We do not send account identity with that text.
Do not put personal, confidential, passenger or operationally sensitive information into an airport request or WhatsApp message. NotamHelp is an informational aid, not an official briefing or flight-planning system.
openAIP data is used under its stated CC BY-NC 4.0 licence. FAA and EUROCONTROL material remains subject to the applicable source terms and access arrangements. Source attribution does not mean that any provider endorses NotamHelp.
5. Maps and third-party content
Airport pages may load map content from Google Maps. When your browser requests this content, Google receives technical information such as your IP address, request time, page/referrer information and browser/device details. This is necessary to deliver the map content you request and is based on performance of the requested service and our legitimate interest in presenting aviation information (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Google processes data under its own privacy terms. NotamHelp does not request precise device geolocation.
6. Recipients and service-provider categories
Depending on the feature you use, personal data may be processed by:
- EU hosting, database and account-authentication providers;
- connection-security and content-delivery providers;
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC for optional Google sign-in, airport map content and consented analytics;
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta group providers when you connect or use WhatsApp Business messaging;
- AI and translation providers used to prepare aviation information; and
- aviation and weather data providers, normally receiving the technical query rather than your NotamHelp account identity.
Providers receive only the data reasonably necessary for the relevant service. Some act as processors under our instructions, while user-selected platforms may also act under their own privacy terms. We may disclose limited data where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information about the current specific recipients relevant to your data is available on request at info (at) notamhelp.com.
7. International transfers
Primary application hosting is in the Czech Republic and the primary database is hosted in the EU. Some providers in the categories above, including Google and Meta group providers when you use their features, may process data in the United States or other countries outside the EEA. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision where available, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for participating entities, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and/or other safeguards provided by the relevant service agreement. You may contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.
8. Stripe and payments
NotamHelp does not currently offer direct paid checkout and does not currently send user or payment data to Stripe. If web payments are introduced, the checkout will be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe; NotamHelp will not store full card numbers. This policy and the relevant purchase terms will be updated before that processing begins. A future possibility described in a roadmap is not current data processing.
9. Your GDPR rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may:
- request access to and a copy of your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure or restriction of processing;
- receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw analytics consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Send a request to info (at) notamhelp.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns you. We normally respond within one month, subject to the extensions allowed by GDPR. You may also complain to the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic.
10. Automated processing and security
NotamHelp uses automated rate limiting and behavioural signals to detect likely bots, scanning and abuse. This can temporarily limit access from a client. It does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. AI-generated aviation summaries analyse source data, not your personality or eligibility.
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, transport encryption, restricted credentials and measures intended to prevent unauthorised access. No internet service can promise absolute security. Please keep sign-in links and devices secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised account access.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will remain at this URL with a new effective date. If a change materially affects registered users, we will provide an appropriate additional notice.
